That would be stretching your karma pretty thinly, but it might work out well enough if you budget carefully. If I recall correctly, you will pick up another 15 or so karma in the Walled City itself, which will let you upgrade two more of your skills to 8s, or else add to things like body for more health. By saving your NuYen, you will be able to afford another S class drone for the Walled City run. There is 195-200 karma available prior to setting out for Prosperity Tower, which would leave you 40 or so for other skills like body, bio tech, charisma etc. You could get another combat skill, let's say 7 ranks of quickness and ranged skill, for 56 more karma. DJI, the world’s biggest maker of remote controlled drones, opens its first retail store in Hong Kong this weekend in the heart of Causeway Bay to give up-and-coming drone pilots hands-on. If your base skill set goal is 7 in all rigger skills (Int, Drone control, Drone combat) that's enough to let you control an S class drone. You can try just using one drone, and pumping up your own offensive skills initially, to save cash for the better drones later on. So, what would I try as a pure rigger type? Hmmm. So at that point, your 2 Drones will get: 3 AP (Drone n☁) + 3 AP (Drone n☂) 6 AP Just for your Drones, this shows the strength of Riggers but. Even later your Team will get a permanent bonus of +1 AP. I did manage to get two S class drones for the ASSIST run, so the NuYen is there with decent cash flow management. Whereas 2 Drones will make your investment in Drone Combat much more profitable: later with Drone Combat +6, your Drone will have +1AP. I have never played a pure rigger, only a decker rigger combination, so some of this is pure speculation, but yeah, I nursed that old Mark2 Doberman for a fair number of runs, in order to save up money for the good stuff.
